From 5685e1dba9b485939c833ba86f4e5c2e5e34453b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Case Duckworth Date: Sat, 14 Mar 2015 11:33:26 -0700 Subject: Mostly fix #11: Dedication/epigraph alignment So the issue is solved in terms of how it looks, though it adds a gross extra div into every page and uses :only-child, which I don't think is super-supported. But it's the best I can do that I know of until we get to better flexbox support. Or you know, maybe later I can try doing some templating fixes-- injecting classes so that normally, .dedication is right-aligned but when an epigraph is present, change the class to .dedication-left or something. IDK. Either way is sort of ugly. :( --- something-simple.html | 6 ++++-- 1 file changed, 4 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) (limited to 'something-simple.html') diff --git a/something-simple.html b/something-simple.html index 2c1d9bd..e45391f 100644 --- a/something-simple.html +++ b/something-simple.html @@ -34,8 +34,10 @@

Let’s start with something simple:

in mammals the ratio between bladder size
and urethra is such that it takes
all of them the same time to piss. Take
for example the fact that Fibonnacci
numbers show up everywhere. How can you
look at this at all of this all of
these facts and tell me to my face there
is no God? And yet there isn’t
you murmer quietly into my ear over
and over like a low tide sounding
its lonely waves on an abandoned beach.
The ocean that birthed us holds us
still. We are tied, you and I, together
in her arms. The moon, caring father,
looks down from a dispassionate sky.
