From 5685e1dba9b485939c833ba86f4e5c2e5e34453b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Case Duckworth Date: Sat, 14 Mar 2015 11:33:26 -0700 Subject: Mostly fix #11: Dedication/epigraph alignment So the issue is solved in terms of how it looks, though it adds a gross extra div into every page and uses :only-child, which I don't think is super-supported. But it's the best I can do that I know of until we get to better flexbox support. Or you know, maybe later I can try doing some templating fixes-- injecting classes so that normally, .dedication is right-aligned but when an epigraph is present, change the class to .dedication-left or something. IDK. Either way is sort of ugly. :( --- spittle.html | 6 ++++-- 1 file changed, 4 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) (limited to 'spittle.html') diff --git a/spittle.html b/spittle.html index fe80030..a20409e 100644 --- a/spittle.html +++ b/spittle.html @@ -34,8 +34,10 @@

Spittle

- - +

+

My body is attached to your body by a thin spittle of thought.
When you turn away from me, my thought is broken
and forms anew with something else. Ideas are drool.
Beauty has been slobbered over far too long. God
is a tidal wave of bodily fluid. Even the flea has some
vestigial wetness. We live in a world fleshy and dark,
and moist as a nostril. Is conciousness only a watery-eyed
romantic, crying softly into his shirt-sleeve? Is not reason
a square-jawed businessman with a briefcase full of memory?
I want to kiss the world to make it mine. I want to become
a Judas to reality, betray it with the wetness of emotion.
